1296529 Trelliswork L B (PLASTICS) Ltd 30 Dec 1969 [31 Dec 1968 13 Feb 1969] 1991/ 72 and 4536/72 Divided out of 1296528 Heading E1X A lattice or trellis comprises an assembly of struts or slats connected by rivets the terminal portions of which project beyond the faces of the trellis so that in use the lattice will be spaced from the surface to which it is attached. The rivets are preferably made of plastics material, are tubular and may be circular or non-circular according to whether folding or rigid trellis is required. Various modifications of heads or flanges at the terminal portions are described; one head has slots so that it may be compressed and driven through holes in the struts; another has an undercut flange 11 with which a circlip 12 is secured; another lead is formed by spinning an end of the rivet over; two-part rivets with parts fitting within each other and secured by adhesive or friction welding may be used.
