Abstract

The circuit shown in Fig. 4 includes a reference network corresponding to the photo-metric network and comprises a resistor R 2 , a field effect transistor FT 2 , an amplifying transistor T 2 and a logarithmic diode D 5 , so that the signal used by meter M or 2, Fig. 1 (not shown) is the difference signal of the two networks. The meter needle can be set to zero by means of a zero adjust knob 3 which engages a slide plate 11 having a "V" shaped indent at one end so that moving the slide plate 11 alters the amount of light reaching the photo-electric element 12.
