Abstract

1291017 Knitting-machines; pattern wheel TORRINGTON CO 19 April 1971 [28 May 1970] 20230/71 Heading D1C A pattern wheel with needle engaging bits 21 comprises a radially tricked disc 10, and a cover disc 30 with an annular groove 32 which accommodates the needle engaging portions 24 when not required for action and turned about the wire 20. The end of the bit remote from the portion 24 is provided with a partcircular match 25 of peripheral extent greater than 180‹, to provide a snap-engagement onto the wire.
