Abstract
1287179 Development of a light-sensitive silver halide aluminium plate FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 9 Oct 1970 [9 Oct 1969] 48172/70 Heading G2C A silver halide developing solution comprises an alkali metal thiosulphate, an alkali metal thiocyanate, a silver halide developing agent, a preservative and an alkali, the molar ratio of the alkali metal thiosulphate to the alkali metal thiocyanate being from 1:1 to 2:1. The solution may contain 1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole and ethylenediamine in a molar ratio of 1:1 to 1:2. The solution may be used to develop a latent image formed on a photo-sensitive element comprising an anodically oxidized aluminium support carrying a photo-sensitive silver halide in the pores of the oxide layer. The aluminium support may contain 0À05-1À0% by weight of copper. Development may be effected in 2 seconds at 15-30‹C.
