Abstract

1283203 Valves ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 24 Sept 1969 [25 Sept 1968] 47005/69 Heading F2V A multi-way pilot-operated valve has a spool 6 formed with opposite end actuating pistons 27, 28 and a pair of auxiliary actuating pistons 10, 11 of greater diameter than the pistons 27, 28. Operating fluid may be introduced into chambers 21, 23 and 22 through connections 34, 25 and 35. The pilot valves may be solenoidoperated and connected to chambers 21, 22 or manually operated and connected to chamber 23 or all the chambers. The manually-operated pilot valves are two or three-way conical-ended screw-in valves. In a modification the auxiliary pistons are cup-shaped and each have a separate piston associated with the end of the spool slidable therein.
