1283038 Photo-sensitive lead iodide or bromide recording material AGFA GEVAERT 4 Nov 1969 [12 Nov 1968] 53668/68 Heading G2C A photo-sensitive recording material comprises photo-sensitive lead iodide or lead bromide or a crystalline mixture thereof dispersed in an organophilic binder or binder composition wherein the organophilic binder is sucrose benzoate, poly (vinyl-n-butyral), ethylcellulose, shellac, polyvinyl stearate, copoly (vinyl acetate/N- vinylpyrrolidone) or copoly (methacrylic acid/ methyl methacrylate). The photo-sensitive lead iodide and/or lead bromide may be treated with a sulphur, selenium or tellurium sensitizer or other chemical sensitizer many of which are listed. Print-out and developing-out image production is described. The material may be exposed while moistened with a solution of a sensitizing compound for the lead iodide and/or lead bromide in the material.
