1282009 Boride-containing article of jewellery M VILLAT and H U KLINGENBERG 18 Sept 1969 [20 Sept 1968] 46120/69 Heading C7A An article of jewellery (e.g. a ring, earring, chain, pendant, cufflink or watch case) is formed from a composition comprising 5-50% of a metal binder comprising at least 30% of one or more of Ag, Au, Cr and Ni the balance being one or more of B, Co, Cu, Bi, Fe, Mn, Mo, Sb and Sn, having dispersed therein 50-95% of at least one boride of a metal of Groups IVA, VA or VIA of the Periodic Table alone or mixed with at least one carbide, nitride or silicide of at least one of the metals.
