Abstract

1281200 Latches A RAYMOND 3 Dec 1969 [3 Dec 1968] 59020/69 Heading E2A A fastener comprises two parts of which one part comprises a flanged element 1 with a pair of side tongues 14 and the other part, which comprises a saddle 2 and a stem reversely bent to lie beneath the saddle, is inserted in the element 1 between the tongues 14 so that a lug 25 on the stem projecting through a recess in one edge of the saddle abuts a lip on the element 1 to retain the two parts together. The parts are released by depressing a protuberance 26 at the end of the stem and withdrawing the stem from the element 1. The parts are secured to a support by a pair of claws 3 on each element or by screws or the like passing through apertures in flanges on the elements.
