Abstract

1280830 Picture frames JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 20 Oct 1969 [8 Nov 1968] 53032/68 Heading A4X [Also in Division G5] A registration plate holder for a motor vehicle is moulded in a resilient synthetic resin material and includes a pair of parallel channels 14, 15 into which the registration plate (not shown) can be slid. The base of a further channel 16 forms a stop for one end of the plate, and a tongue 18 integral with the base 11 of the holder can be resiliently deformed rearwardly to allow the plate to enter and leave the channels 14, 15 and forms a stop for the other end. The base 11 is formed with countersunk screw holes (not shown) for securing the holder to a vehicle body. A slot 17 permits the plate to be gripped and facilitates its removal from the holder.
