Abstract

1280384 Ventilators GRETSCH-UNITAS GmbH 2 Oct 1970 [7 Oct 1969] 46894/70 Heading F4V A ventilator mounted over an opening 2 in a window frame comprises a frame 3 secured to the window frame and a slidable shutter 4 pressed against the frame 3 by a seal 10, which seal comprises three interconnected bars each two immediately adjacent bars forming an acute angle with one another. The centre bar of the seal 10 includes a thickened edge portion which is received in a slot 15 in the frame 3. The two outer bars may be joined to the same or opposite edges of the central bar of the seal 10, and portions of the seal may be formed of material of different elasticity. A grille 7 is provided with apertures 8. A fly screen is supported between two bars of the seal 10.
