Abstract

1279560 Containers THERMO PLASTICS Ltd 7 May 1971 [11 May 1970] 22635/70 Heading B8P A container comprises at least one side-wall 3 hingedly connected to base 2 and adapted to be connected in a raised position to adjacent side walls 1 by wings 9, each wing being integral withone side wall and attachable to the adjacent side-wall by complementary recess and protrusion means, which are maintained in engagement by a flange 6 on the outside of the adjacent wall. The container (only half of which is illustrated, the other half being a mirror image) may be injection moulded from plastics. There may be a rib 7a on each wall 1 engageable in a first channel 13 in the wing 9 to form a nestable container, or in a second channel 10 to form a container in which the walls are normal to the base. Alternatively the recess and protrusion means may be formed by sockets and spigots.
