Abstract

1279080 Perfumed compositions; perfumed insecticides HAARMANN & REIMER GmbH 19 April 1971 [10 April 1970] 26162/71 Headings A5B and A5E [Also in Divisions C2 and C5] Perfumes for skin creams, insect sprays and paper tissues contain the novel ester 4-methyl- 2-pentanol crotonate (see Division C2). Conventional perfume ingredients with the ester are added to a face cream prepared from oleic acid decyl ester, glycerine monostearate, liquid paraffin, cetaceum, p-hydroxybenzoic acid propyl ester added to water, p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester, sorbitol and the perfume composition. An insect spray comprising 2, 2- dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate, epichlorohydrin, isopropyl alcohol, kerosene, monofluorotrichloromethane and difluorodichloromethane in a pressure can is also perfumed by conventional perfume with the ester.
