Abstract

1276402 Suction cleaner PROGRESSELEKTROGERATE MAUZ & PFEIFFER 5 June 1970 [6 June 1969] 27176/70 Heading A4F In a suction cleaner having a suction fan unit which draws dust raised by a rotary cleaning tool 7 into a collecting chamber 6, Fig. 1, the latter is replaceable by a dust collecting chamber 8, Fig. 3, having a connector socket 22 for the terminal fitting 18 of a suction hose. The space containing the tool 7 does not communicate with the interior of the container 8, and when the latter is placed in position a cam thereon actuates a crank lever 31 to raise pivoted arms 32 carrying the tool 7 to lift the latter from the floor. Each dust container 6, 8 is provided with a dust filter 15 which registers with a filter 14 in the inlet to the suction fan chamber 3.
