[Class 8(i)] A vacuum cleaner housing 1 containing the normal operative elements for suction cleaning has means, e.g. sleds 2 notched at 3 to enable it to engage a stair tread nosing 4 and a stair tread 8 and assume a position of repose enabling the cleaning tools to be used in the vicinity.
