Abstract

1276454 Air conditioning apparatus KOMBINAT LUFT - UND KALTETECHNIK VEB 21 Feb 1970 8439/70 Heading BIT [Also in Division F4] Air conditioning apparatus comprises a plurality of identical prefabricated air conditioning modules 1 arranged to form with a supplementary module 14 sides of an air inlet or outlet passage 18, or of a module by-pass passage. In the form shown, each module comprises a filter 4, cooler 5, heater 6, re-heater 7, and a fan 9. The fan 9 may be positioned upstream of the air treatment elements. The module 14 houses one or more refrigeration units 15. In another embodiment, the modules I are spaced apart parallel to one another and are supplied with air through common air flow mixing and regulating units. The space between the modules forms a by-pass passage for air to pass directly to the fans 9.
