Abstract

1276221. Cleaning tubes FRITZ BUSER A.G. MASCHINENFABRIK. 11 June 1970 [11 June 1969] 28417/70 Heading F2N [Also in Division B6] Cylindrical printing screen 25 is supported on rods 9 by its flanges 26 and pivoted into cleaning compartments 1, which is then closed by pivoted wall portion 5. Spray nozzles 15 then apply a washing liquid to the screen. Application of screen 25 to the rods 9 is made with the rods horizontal. A plurality of pivoted wall portions and sets of rods may share a common compartment 1. Preferably, the screen rotates during washing, under impact of tangentially directed jets which play on it externally, in addition to the internal jets from the nozzles 15.
