1275792 Knuckle joints WILLIAM MARPLES & SONS Ltd 23 Jan 1970 [21 Feb 1969] 9525/69 Heading E2F [Also in Division Gl] A folding rule comprises plastics measuring elements (10, 12, 16, 18 Fig. 1 not shown) pivoted together by knuckle joints (20) in which parts 22, 24 of the knuckle joints are moulded integrally with the measuring elements and are reinforced by pairs of metal hinge plates 34, 36 of which root portions are embedded in the ends of the elements and protruding end portions are pivotally connected by a pivot pin 26 extending through them and the integrally moulded parts.
