Abstract

1,274,477. Pressurized dispensers. L'OREAL. Dec. 3, 1969 [Dec. 5, 1968], No. 59137/69. Heading F1R. In a pack for storing two substances separately and dispensing them under pressure as a mixture, one substance 13 is held in a container 11 slidable as a piston in an evelope 1 containing another substance 14. To actuate the pack, it is orientated with the valve downwards, and a pin 7 is operated to rupture the wall of a chamber 5 releasing pressuring fluid to the envelope causing the container 11 to slide towards the valve 2, a rigid rod 9 to displace a plug 12 and subsequently a cover 10, slidably mounted on the rod 9, to seal the empty container 11. Thereafter the mixture may be dispensed from a nozzle 3 by movement of the now closed piston 11 acted on by the pressure fluid.
