Abstract

1,269,157. Packaging bags; boxes. A. MIERSON. 27 May, 1969, No. 26792/69. Headings B8C and B8P. [Also in Division A4] A flat stack of bags 13 have their ends inserted through a transverse slot 16 in a flat foldable elongated inner receptable 14 so that the ends lie within the ends of the receptacle, and the loaded receptacle is laid flat upon a foldable flat bag support member 21-28. The member and loaded receptacle are then folded in the form shown and inserted in a box 11 with the receptacle slot adjacent a bag dispensing opening 19, 20, of the box whereby separate bags may be withdrawn by hand, the support side sections 21, 22 engaging the inner sides of the box. Portions of inner receptacle adjacent slot 16 may extend through box dispensing opening and be adhered to the box top, or portions of the bag support member may be adhesively secured inside the box.
