C. engine cooled by air delivered by a centrifugal blower 6 and having its combustion chamber (not shown) and inlet and exhaust valves 2, 3 arranged at one side of its cylinder 1, the air-flow 8 passing around the valve side of the cylinder is divided into two currents 8a, 8b by a projecting lug 9 on the wall of exhaust conduit 5.
