Abstract

1,259,989. Wire-fencing. METROPOLITAN CONCRETE WORKS Ltd. 22 Jan., 1970 [22 Jan., 1969; 13 June, 1969], Nos. 3640/69 and 30198/69. Heading E1B. Chain link fencing is secured to concrete posts by clamping bars 15 engaged by channel section members 13 of clamps 12 which are adjustably mounted on vertically spaced horizontal bolts 11 passing through the posts, the mesh (not shown) being strained by tightening nuts 18. Straining wires S are secured at one end by a ring integral with the end of the bolt and at the other by a D-ring adapter 14 screwed onto the bolt by which the wires S may be stressed. The sleeve clamp shown may be replaced by a pair of overlapping channel sections with holes for the bolts or by a bore section with holes for bolts having an angle section attached to one side.
