Abstract

1,250,050. Trailers. J. BROCKHOUSE & CO. Ltd. 26 March, 1970 [2 April, 1969], No. 17156/69. Heading B7B. The tow bar 18 of a trailer for carrying vehicles is connected to the trailer chassis so as be relatively tiltable thereto. The chassis comprises a pair of track members spaced apart by transverse members 8 and is pivotally connected to the tow bar via a lug 21 on a member 8. Two members 16 connected to the chassis by members 17 support a screw jack the shaft 23 of which passes through the tow bar to allow the tilting to be effected. A winch for pulling vehicles on to the track members is provided on the chassis.
