Abstract
1,247,664. Laminated fabrics. BONDINA Ltd. 26 Sept., 1968 [27 Sept., 1967; 14 June, 1968], Nos. 44060/67 and 28578/68. Heading B5N. [Also in Divisions B2 and C3] An interlining fabric carrying on at least one side a discontinuous coating of an adhesive comprising (a) a polyamide, (b) a watersoluble melting point depressant and (c) a water-soluble thickener may be laminated with a second fabric. The polyamide may be a nylon 6/nylon 66 copolymer. The melting point depressant may be urea or dicyandiamide. The thickener may be poly(ammonium methacrylate). The adhesive may also contain a mixture of o- and p-toluene sulphonamide as plasticizer. The second fabric may be woollen. The laminate may be made in a steam press or electric press. Reference is made to Specification 1,247,665.
