Abstract

1,243,372. Nuclear power plant. ATOMIC POWER CONSTRUCTIONS Ltd. 10 Nov., 1969 [30 Aug., 1968], No. 41687/68. Heading G6C. In a nuclear reactor plant the heat exchanger 4, heated by the reactor coolant gas supplies the turbine 1 and is fed with water from the de-aerater, 7, by the pump 2. Steam is fed to 7 from the auxiliary heat exchanger, 11 so that an adequate pressure is provided in 7 to reduce cavitation at the feedwater pump 2. (For Figure see next page.)
