Abstract

1,240,558. Ventilating buildings. GREENWOOD AIRVAC VENTILATION Ltd. 2 July, 1970 [16 July, 1969], No. 35713/69. Addition to 1,166,341. Heading F4V. A unit ventilator having a housing removably mounted on a chassis plate which supports a fan and its driving motor, as described in parent Specification, is modified by elements which co-operate only when the housing and plate are correctly assembled together to complete an electric circuit including the motor. In one embodiment, a plastics tongue mounted on the inside surface of the housing includes one or more strip bridging contacts and is insertable into a slot in a block mounted on the chassis plate to engage two spaced resilient contacts. In another embodiment, the tongue is not provided with contacts and the block includes a rigid contact and a resilient contact which is pressed into engagement therewith by the tongue.
