Abstract

1454511 Ventilators MICRO & PRECISION MOULDINGS (CHELTENHAM) Ltd 31 Jan 1974 [3 Feb 1973 (2)] 5445/73 and 5446/73 Heading F4V A ventilator assembly comprises a louvred plate 10 for covering a wall vent and having louvre blades 14 whose front edges are flush with the front face of a margin 11 of the plate, and a separate flyscreen having a recess to receive the blades 14, both the plate 10 and the flyscreen being plastics mouldings. The margin 11 of the plate 10 is recessed to receive tabs (27, Fig. 4) on the flyscreen, which tabs are sandwiched between plate 10 and the wall. The flyscreen includes a frusto-conical spacer which engages the plate 10 to space the perforated portion of the flyscreen from the rear edges of the blades 14.
