Abstract

1,134,469. Stencil printing. SHIGERU INOUE & MASAMITSU OKI. 27 Sept., 1967 [7 Oct., 1966 (2)], No. 44024/67. Heading B6C. In the manufacture of a gramophone record the labelling material is applied by a screen printing process which uses a squeegee of elastic material which is either moulded or pressed by a clip-like arrangement into the shape shown in Fig. 6a. By applying such a squeegee at an angle of less than 90 degrees to the record surface to be labelled the varying contour of such surface is evenly printed.
