Abstract

1,132,030. Burners. LORO & PARISINI S.p.A. 21 Sept., 1967 [24 Sept., 1966], No. 42910/67. Heading F4T. A burner for liquid fuel has a tube part 2 into which is inserted a tubular piece 3 whose inner surface has a circular cross-section of variable diameter and a fuel supply tube 4 slidably supported with the tube 2 and having a tubular end piece 8 secured thereto whose exterior surface is of similar profile to the inner surface of the piece 3 so that the annular gap between the two members can be varied by axial displacement of the tube 4 by means of a rack 12 engaging a pinion 13, fuel passages 10 being provided in the piece 8. Air supplied to tube 2 is controlled by vanes 20 and a linkage 17, 18, 19 connects a fuel valve 15 to the pinion 13, the whole arrangement being controllable by a thermometric device 22 if desired.
