Abstract

1,127,002. Burners. " DON " OIL BURNERS Ltd. and D. E. SHARPLEY. 4 July, 1966 [2 April, 1965], No. 14148/65. Heading F4T. A liquid fuel burner body 10 has two concentric annular open-topped channels 12, 13 formed in ring portions 14, 15 of the body which are interconnected by radial struts 16, hollow to provide passages 17 opening into the channels 12, 13 and a small bore fuel inlet tube 21 communicates with the channel 12 through a threaded boss 22. Concentric pairs of metal tubes 23 rest on shoulders 24 formed on ring portions 14, 15, a lid 25 is disposed on the tubes 23 and has a ring of apertures 26 over channel 13, wicks 27 being disposed in the channels.
