Abstract

1,125,264. Rotary printing machines. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG A.G. 26 April. 1966 [22 May, 1965], No. 18317/66. Heading B6C. In a rotary machine in which the printing plates 2 are clamped by means of pivotable hooks 3, 4, carried by the printing cylinder 1 and arranged to engage in recesses 5, 5<SP>1</SP> located in the undersurface of the plate along the two straight edges thereof, the hooks of one row, which is movable into clamping position by a rotatable cam-shaft 6, each consist of two parts which bear resiliently against one another. The first part 3<SP>1</SP> has a hook 3 for engagement in the associated plate recess whilst the second part 3<SP>11</SP> bears against the cam-shaft. The end 8 of the first part is mounted for pivotal movement in a co-oparating seating in the second part.
