Abstract

A bowling-pin having a cavity or cavities arranged concentrically around its vertical axis is made of a polymeric material, e.g. polythylene, polycarbonates, cellulose esters, polyformaldehydes, polyamides, ABS plastics, modified acrylics, ethyl cellulose, polypropylene or phenoxy resins. In the preferred embodiment the pin is made of a high-density polythylene concentrate containing pigments and a filler, e.g. titanium dioxide, mixed in the ratio of 1:10 with a high density polyethylene.
