Abstract

1,110,564. Automatic ball dispenser. IWAO NAKAJIMA. 12 July, 1966 [16 April, 1966], No. 31252/66. Heading A6D. An automatic golf ball dispenser comprises a cylindrical container 1 with a vertical slit 2, a lid 3 with an opening 5; a spiral ball trough 6 beginning just below the opening 5 and merging into a straight inclined trough 6<SP>1</SP> having a slit 7 in the bottom thereof, through which protrudes a star-shaped ball dispenser 10 having teeth 8 thereon, fixed to a horizontal shaft 11 with a rachet wheel 12 thereon; a ball conveying lever 14 rotatable about a horizontal shaft 15 located under the lower end of the straight trough 6<SP>1</SP> consisting of a straight ball conveying apart 16 an annular end 18 on one end of part 16 having an internal diameter a little larger than that of a golf ball, and a weight 19 at the other end of lever 14; and a swing lever 20 located below the ball conveying lever 14 and rotatable about a horizontal shaft 21, one end of the swing lever 20 extending through slot 2 having attached thereto a ball cup lever 23 with a ball cup 22 on the free end thereof, and the other end 24 of the swing lever 20 having an arresting rod 25 and an 'L' shaped rod 26 mounted thereon at a position beneath dispenser 10 and rachet wheel 12 respectively.
