Abstract

1,110,432. Meat hooks. SOCIETE FRANCAISE DE TRANSPORTS ET ENTREPOTS FRIGORIFIQUES. 21 May, 1965 [22 May, 1964], No. 21679/65. Heading E2A. A meat hook has a shank 1 whose unattached extremety 2 terminates in a point and whose other end is formed with an enlarged head 4 having on its side adjacent the shank a convex surface. A U-shaped suspension element 5, bored at 8 to receive a horizontal shaft A, has formed in its curved base portion 7, an elongated opening 9 having parallel edges which are spaced by a distance slightly greater than the diameter of the shank, and whose upper portions (11) constitute mutual seatings for the curved head portion 4.
