Abstract

1,108,974. Masted lift trucks. HANS STILL, G.m.b.H. 15 Oct., 1965 [21 Nov., 1964], No. 43873/65. Addition to 1,015,975. Heading B8H. The mast assembly 5 of a lift truck is mounted on an intermediate frame 7 which is pivotable about an axis 10 on the truck body by an hydraulic ram 8 and on which the front wheels 9 of the truck are mounted. The front wheels 9 may be driven by an electric or hydrostatic motor on the frame 7 or on the truck body or, alternatively, the rear steering wheels 4 may be driven. The mast assembly may be movable transversely relative to, or together with, the frame 7.
