Abstract

1,104,348. Refrigerators. BRITISH THERMOSTAT CO. Ltd. 8 July, 1966 [21 July, 1965], No. 31009/65. Heading F4H. A drip tray for a refrigerator has an aperture 2 containing a flap valve 3 for regulating air flow therethrough and a temperature-responsive device 5 for controlling the valve in response to the temperature of the storage compartment. Valve 3 is connected by a link 9 to a lever 8 which is pivoted at 10 within a housing 4 and is spring-urged into contact with a rod carried by a bellows of the device 5 (Fig. 3, not shown). The tension of the spring may be varied by rotating a spindle 15.
