Abstract

1,100,821. Skirting and like assemblies. H. W. MARKS. 14, Jan., 1965 [16, Jan., 1964], No. 1912/64. Heading E1B. A hollow metal internal structural finishing assembly for covering the angle between two parts of a building such as between a wall and a floor comprises an angle section member 11, formed at each longitudinal edge with a narrow flange 12, 13 parallel to the surfaces defining such angle and directed towards the latter, and mounting means 14, 15, securable upon such two surfaces and having cranked edge portions adapted to receive the marginal flanges 12, 13. The means 14 15 may be combined into a single member which may form a single back panel for the angle section member. The assembly may also comprise end finishing and angle securing means 20, 26 and 28 and jointing strips 17.
