Abstract

1,183,401. Wall facings. EXPLOATOR A.B. 14 Feb., 1967 [17 Feb., 1966], No. 6961/67. Heading E1B. Wall facing elements for, e.g. bathroom walls, are made of plastics or rubber and interlock along opposed edges by means of tongues 6 and grooves 5, the grooves being formed between flanges 7 and 8 of unequal extent in the direction of the cross-section of the groove. A channel 10 is formed along the root of the flange 6 to receive the heads of staples 9 used to fasten the elements to the wall. Spacing ribs 3 may be formed on the elements.
