Abstract

1,100,547. Gutter and flashing for roofs. MARLEY CONCRETE Ltd. 25, April, 1966 [24, May, 1965], No. 21899/65. Heading E1W. A combined flashing and secret gutter comprises an elongate flat portion 9 having formed integrally along one edge a channel 1 the outer wall 4 of which is extended upwardly to form the inner wall 5 of an inverted channel 2 spaced laterally and upwardly of the channel 1. The channel 1 forms a secret gutter whilst the channel 2 caps a fascia board 12. An upstanding and preferably outwardly inclined wall portion may be formed along the edge of the portion 9 remote from the channel 1, and may be slightly flexible. The section may be made of metal or of a flexible synthetic resin which is preferably extruded.
