Abstract

1,100,345. Side gussetted plastics bag. BRITISH VISQUEEN Ltd. 3 May, 1965 [13 May, 1964], No. 19993/64. Heading B8K. [Also in Division B5] A heat seal 3, Fig. 1, partly closes the mouth of a side gussetted plastics bag, the flaps 6 being heat sealed or stitched together after filling. The bottom of the bag is closed by a continuous seal 9 with optional reinforcing seals 10 across the gussets. The seal 3 may extend up the sides of the flaps 6 and may be curved. The bag can be made from a length of slide gussetted tubular film or two flat sheets sealed and gussetted (see Division B5).
