Abstract
1,199,313. Valves. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. 13 Sept., 1967 [17 Sept., 1966], No. 41695/67. Heading F2V. A valve for gas-heated circulation waterheaters has a valve disc 53 sealingly and tiltably mounted on a stem 492 of a temperature responsive expansion member 49 and spring- loaded against a stop 59. The disc 53 cooperates with a seat 56 to control the flow from inlet 42 to outlet 41. An adjustable screw 62 abuts the disc as it moves towards its valve closed position to tilt the disc and maintain a wedge-shaped opening when the disc is in the valve closed position so as to always have a flow through outlet 41. A second disc spring-loaded against a shoulder of the expansion member cooperates with a seat on the fixed ring 45 to control the flow to outlet 40. The second disc moves to valve open position as the first disc moves to valve closed position.
