Abstract

1,198,987. Seats. COX OF WATFORD Ltd. 17 Aug., 1967 [19 Aug., 1966], No. 37200/66. Heading A4J. In a vehicle, in which a rail 19 is fastened to and extends along a side wall 13, the positions of sliders 14 of seats 11, along the rail, is determined by bolt holes provided in the floor 17 for attachments 16, for the struts 15, 18 of a transverse tubular cantilever 12. Each C-shaped slider 14 encloses a clamping bar (21) which is wedged, by means of two spaced bolts (24, Figs. 2 and 3, not shown), against the inclined undersurface (22) of the rail 19.
