1,195,724. Printing-apparatus. J. K. THOMPSON. 28 March, 1968 [26 April, 1967], No. 19206/67. Heading B6C. [Also in Division B8] Apparatus for use in printing comprises an assembly rotatable about a first axis, and a head carried by the assembly and rotatable about a second axis, parallel to, but spaced from, the first axis, the head rotating in the opposite direction at n times the rotational speed of the assembly and having a curved face whose radius of curvature is such that the face describes a flat surface rolling movement at n equiangularly spaced locations about the first axis, liquid printing medium being picked up at one location and deposited at a subsequent location.
