Abstract

1,193,963. Treatment of plants. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP. 5 June, 1967 [3 June, 1966; 2 Feb., 1967], Nos. 24886/66 and 5192/67. Heading A1D. Apparatus for the treatment of plants growing in a row comprises an electrical probe 8 connected by a lead 12 to electronic units 13-18 which operate a solenoid controlled valve 20 to control the flow of liquid from a spray nozzle 19, the electronic units including interval setting means which prevent actuation of the valve 20 by signals from the probe within the set interval. The apparatus is mounted on a beam 1 provided with skids 4.
