Abstract

1,192,654. Curette. G. O. UDDENBERG. 12 Feb., 1968, No. 6794/68. Heading A5R. A 'surgical curette comprises a blade portion 1 having cutting edge 6 and a shank 2 having a slot 4 and 5 which fits over a stud 8 with lateral grooves 9 and abuts on a shoulder 11 on the end of a handle 7 to fix the blade thereto. The blade (and handle) may be stamped' from suitable .sheet metal, e.g. stainless steel, and the blade may be removed from the handle and disposed of after being used once.
