Abstract

1,190,855. Photographic colour processing. ILFORD Ltd. Jan. 31, 1969 [Feb.2, 1968], No.5472/68. Heading G2C. An exposed colour photographic silver halide material is subjected successively to treatment with (i) a colour developer containing N-ethyl-N- #-hydroxy-ethyl-p-phenylene diamine as developing agent - and (ii) a bleaching-fixing bath of pH between 6 and 7 and containing a water-soluble hydrazine or hydroxylamine salt. A colour image having lower colour stain and fog is obtained. A washing step may be given after each of the above successive steps. The specified salt is hydrazine sulphate and the bleach-fix bath may also contain a fluorescent whitening agent.
