1,190,780. Delivering measured quantities of liquid. GRASOLI-WERK GEB. GRAH. 28 Dec., 1967 [4 March, 1967], No. 58810/67. Heading B8N. [Also in Division G1] A device for dispensing measured quantities of liquid comprises a mounting dish 1 having a bottom 2 provided with an opening 3 and a tipping cup 4 mounted on pivots 5 so as to lose its balance and empty after having been filled with a predetermined amount of liquid and then return automatically into its original position resting against a stop 7. The cup is symmetrically formed about the pivots 5 except that one half has an indentation 6 thereby reducing the volume of that half and so causing the cup to be balanced when empty but unbalanced when full with a predetermined quantity such that it tips and empties. A drip tray 8 may be provided.
