Abstract
1,190,471. Shuttleless looms. R. B. GOLOBART. 11 March, 1968 [15 March, 1967], No. 11681/68. Heading D1E. Upon weft failure a stop motion disconnects the drive from the weft inserters to enable the loom to run in reverse without the inserters entering the shed, Weft inserters 18, 19 on.a a support-33 are connected to a sleeve I that is reciprocated on a rod 6, located under the shed, by a lever 5. When a weft stop motion operates a solenoid pushes a rod 40 to lower a cam 44 so that, as the inserters are fully retracted from the shed, a lever 23 is depressed realeasing catches 13, 29 that connect the inserters to the sleeve 1.
