Abstract

1,178,589. Sewing machines. EDGAR PICKERING (BLACKBURN) Ltd. 25 Nov., 1968 [6 Dec., 1967], No. 55446/67. Heading D1G. In a tufting machine a stationary yarn guide bar 15, which cooperates with a jerker bar 16 fixed to the needle bar 12, is mounted on a number of brackets 18 which are vertically adjustable. The brackets have racks 24 which may be moved by a pinion 25 on a manually rotatable shaft 26. A locking screw 21 and adjustment indicator 23 may be provided.
