1,176,674. Brush applicators. G. SCHWARTZMAN. 8 Sept., 1967, No. 41046/61 Heading A4K. An applicator brush head (50) 90 is resiliently mounted, by means of a supporting flange (26) 98, so that it either opens or closes a liquid outlet (30) 82. In one form (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown), the head (50) is pressed inwardly, to open a conventional applicator valve. As shown, the retainer ring 78 is fitted into a squeeze bottle 70, so that the brush head 90 can be forced off its seating 86, by liquid pressure due to squeezing the bottle.
