Abstract

1315639 Cosmetic applicators A COSTA 6 Aug 1971 37098/71 Heading B8P A cosmetics applicator includes at least two containers 1 for liquid cosmetics and an applicator brush 8, 9 associated with each container 1. In one embodiment, Fig. 3, the brushes 8, 9 are formed integrally with a handle portion 7, and a neck-piece 4 which can be screwed into the handle portion is a push fit within each container 1. Each neck-piece 4 includes an inwardly directed annular collar 14 for sealing engagement with the shank 10 of each brush 8 or 9. The rim 17 of each neck-piece 4 is sealingly seatable in a respective annular groove 16 in the handle portion 7. In another embodiment (Figs. 4, 5) the containers (1<SP>1</SP>) are formed backto-back as an integral unit and each container is associated with a separate brush. Each container has a neck-piece (5) and each handle has an annular groove in which the rim of the associated neck-piece (5) can seat. A cosmetic applicator comprising more than two containers is provided.
